Even pre-Covid-19, I have been fortunate enough to be able to work from home at least once a week. Wearing lounge wear is definitely one of its perks. Whether WFH is here to stay permanently or indefinitely, we still don't know at this point. And I get that some of you might be thinking, chatting about fashion in a time of pandemic just sounds so petty. I guess for me, this is a coping mechanism; perhaps a way of distracting myself from the news, feelings of confusion, sadness, boredom, and missing in-person human interaction.
For whatever reason that only a shrink could answer, I have managed to curate a M-F, 9-5 WFH outfits that I thought you may find interesting...or not. Anyway, I hope it would at least help uplift your spirits in this time of Covid crisis. So, here they are!
Comfortable, versatile, and cool! This a Gap denim jumpsuit is a no-brainer. Layer with a t-shirt or dress shirt during a Zoom video meeting, and voila! Of course, shoes are optional.
For a relaxed, look, this marled wool-cashmere V-neck pullover by Vince fits the bill. Opt for flowy trousers, or loose fitting jeans and you're ready to conquer the world without sacrificing casualness for chicness! Vince is 25% off discount site wide including Sale items, use code MAY25.
This adorable printed pajama top and bottom by Zara that can be worn as a set or separate is one of my favorite WFH outfits. Super comfy, yet stylish and on trend.
And during those blah days, you can add a dose of color with this lovely blue and yellow scarf by Amedee Paris. It is 100% Tasmanian wool and ethically made in Italy. Luxurious, yet environmentally conscious.
I only used to wash my hair every other day. But since self-isolation happened, I could go 3 days without washing! Apart from dry shampoo, these soft Kitsch scrunchies I got at Shopbop.com have become my new hair bestie!
